Meet Charity, Founder of Alluring Soul
Charity, Registered Nurse and Licensed Tattoo Artist, began her career in healthcare in 2002. Following the pandemic, she took a leap of faith and began shifting her focus to aesthetics, an industry she has always loved and admired. Charity opened Alluring Soul in March 2023 offering tattooed cosmetics to downtown Joplin and surrounding communities. The name Alluring Soul comes from Charity’s own personal philosophy, that true beauty comes from within. It is Charity's dream and passion to be able to provide luxury services to EVERY woman, regardless of socioeconomic status. Every woman deserves the opportunity to feel beautiful and have a self care day. Charity accepts Afterpay and CareCredit to assist in financing your beauty wants and needs.
As a female entrepreneur, Charity's main focus is encouraging women to pursue their dreams and passions by developing their own business models. Alluring Soul does not have employees, but rather independent, female contractors, who manage and operate their own business, allowing them to reach their personal and professional goals. Charity has been a Registered Nurse since 2012 with most of her career spent in Intensive Care. She obtained her tattoo license in 2022 and has fallen in love with permanent cosmetics and esthetics. She is a licensed Aesthetic Injector and has obtained certifications in spray tanning and professional grade skin care lines. Microneedling, dermaplaning, vitamin injections, and several facial treatments fill her service menu.
Kelly, Licensed Esthetician, graduated from City Pointe Beauty Academy in 2022. Before falling in love with esthetics, Kelly worked in the corporate world. She loves reading, camping/hiking, and spending time with her family and friends. Kelly offers full body waxing treatments, facials, lash extensions, lash and brow tints, and more.
Melissa, Licensed Esthetician, graduated from City Pointe Beauty Academy in 2018. She graduated from the National Laser Institute in 2019. Melissa offers facials, lash extensions, laser hair removal, laser IPL, and facial resurfacing.
Brittany, Licensed Cosmetologist, has over 20 years experience in the hair industry. She offers cuts, color, and styles, facial waxing, and brow and lash tinting. She specializes in designer, textured, and/or precision haircuts.
Jasmine, Licensed Tattoo Artist, is Alluring Soul's newest addition. Jasmine owns Jay Mag Inks and has an incredible talent and eye for perfection. She loves to explore and connect with people. On her free time, you can catch her hanging with her kiddo, thrifting, or drawing! She loves supporting local and scoring a good deal. Jasmine values her clients, their time, and their trust. "I think art is a form of expression and believe what I do is the best job I could have".
